Macy is a wonderful 8 year old, Australian shepherd mix that has lived in a home with children for 7 years. Her family ended up moving overseas and did not feel that the relocation and  lifestyle change would be in her best interest, so she was returned to CARE. Yes, she was with CARE as a pup. She is working on getting to her ideal weight, but is otherwise happy, healthy and ready to find a comfortable home to call her own. All adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, current of vaccinations, microchipped, de-wormed, and applied flea preventative. All dogs over six months are heartworm tested and started on heartworm preventative. All cats are tested for FeLV, and all cats over six months are tested for FIV.
