Florence is a beagle that was found neglected and abandoned during the hurricane, hence the name. She had previously had her foot amputated, from an unknown injury, was hungry, malnourished, and starving for attention. Since she came to CARE she has had her leg surgically amputated, has been vaccinated, spayed and now receives more love than she could have imagined. She gets along well with other dogs and likes children. We hope to find her a new home in time to celebrate the holidays with a loving family. All adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, current of vaccinations, microchipped, de-wormed, and applied flea preventative. All dogs over six months are heartworm tested and started on heartworm preventative. All cats are tested for FeLV, and all cats over six months are tested for FIV.
