Woof! I'm Amber- Resident of CARE!

Lab Mix
Adult Female

RIPAmber has been a resident of CARE since 2013. As a puppy, she presented with inability to walk and muscle weakness. Through extensive testing it was determined she has muscular distrophy. Her life expectancy was 6 months to 3 years so we must be doing something right. She remains in the care of the volunteers and doctors of the rescue and continues to get the necessary medical care and love that she needs.

With sad hearts our sweet Amber passed on yesterday. Her life may have been short but was full of love.  She was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and was given a life expectancy of 6 months to 3 years. With the loving care of her veterinarians, CARE volunteers and her family @aahpcr we were blessed to have 5 years with this amazing pup!🐶🐶 Thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters and volunteers.👏👏 Your contributions, time, support and love afforded us the opportunity to give Amber everything she wanted and needed. Her battle may be over but we remain, to continue to help all the animals we can. Because every pet deserves to be loved as Amber is. #rescuedogsofinstagram #rainbowbridge #wecaredoyou
