Hello! My name is Veronica, and I am a very sweet, but shy, young lady. I was rescued from a dog-fighting ring, so hopefully you can understand why I am a little timid. My friends at C.A.R.E. and Atlantic Animal Hospital are helping me get over my fear by being very patient with me and rewarding me with lots of treats! I’m hoping to find a family that is willing to continue working with me. I am very interested in other dogs, although, due to my heartworm treatments, I enjoy playing with my doggy friends in Puppy Play and especially love Mabel (also in CARE). I am very loving,  approximately 2 years old, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with a family of my very own! All adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, current of vaccinations, microchipped, de-wormed, and applied flea preventative. All dogs over six months are heartworm tested and started on heartworm preventative. All cats are tested for FeLV, and all cats over six months are tested for FIV.
