Tabby & White Domestic Shorthair
Our dearest Sweetie passed away on February 25, 2019. He shared nearly 4 1/2 years of his treasured life with us. He was an old, toothless, diabetic kitty who was patiently cared for by the volunteers of CARE, and staff of Atlantic Animal Hospital. Due to his medical issues, he had not found a “home” but he was loved and the staff of Atlantic Animal Hospital was his family. He could often be found sashaying down the hall looking for treats in the office or sleeping snuggled up in a box recently unpacked from Amazon. We are forever grateful to have known him and for the impact he had on our lives.
Sweetie is a (roughly) 12 year old tabby and white domestic shorthair.
He has had full mouth extractions due to Stomatitis (auto-immune disease) and suffers from chronic rhinitis (nasal congestion). Sweetie is diabetic and is managed through diet and insulin. While it is unlike he will be adopted due to the chronic nature of his illnesses, he continues to receive love and attention from the volunteers and doctors of CARE.
