Mabel was found as a stray and brought to a shelter. After adoption, she jumped out of a car window where she sustained a broken leg. CARE took her in and she has undergone surgery to repair her leg. Mabel has been spayed, is ~1 yr. old and has not stopped wagging her tail since she’s been here. She is patiently awaiting her new home when she is all healed up. She has fun in group play with other dogs and loves her friend Veronica (a female pitbull) who is also in the rescue waiting to be adopted.

All adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, current of vaccinations, microchipped, de-wormed, and applied flea preventative. All dogs over six months are heartworm tested and started on heartworm preventative. All cats are tested for FeLV, and all cats over six months are tested for FIV.
