Natural Balance will make a donation to Coastal Animal Rescue Effort!

For each UPC Code and Receipt submitted. Your pet food purchase can help us maintain the funding needed to continue our mission.

What you need to do:

  1. Save the UPC Code and receipt from your purchase of Natural Balance Dog/Cat food
  2. Drop the UPC Code and receipt off at Atlantic Animal Hospital @ 1808 Sir Tyler Drive, Wilmington, NC 28405 OR mail it to us
  3. Give yourself a pat on the back because you have just found an easy way to support local animal rescue

We are happy to mail you pre-addressed and stamped envelopes to make your submissions easier. Just let us know!

Join us for the Pawty of the Year!

Don’t miss out on the 6th annual Pawty of the Year gala, September 16th at The Terraces on Sir Tyler. Tickets are on sale now and last year this was a SOLD OUT event. We are currently seeking sponsors and donors. See attached donation forms, sponsor levels, etc… There will be music, beautiful decor from Fiore Fine Flowers, open beer and wine, food from great local providers.

Tickets are $75 for open seating or $750 for a reserved table for 8 guests.

This will be a great event with lots of live auction packages to include a Disney World vacation, a full pet care package, and more. Follow the event on Facebook to see what great items will be available.

5th Annual- Canines & Couture Strut to Stop Puppy Mills

Come join us for our 5th annual Canines & Couture/ Strut to Stop Puppy Mills Pup Fashion Show on March 16th. Rescue pups will sashay down the runway to show their support for less fortunate dogs. The purpose of this grassroots movement is to create awareness around the puppy mill problem and promote animal adoption. VIP seats are $50 and general admission is $20. Proceeds go to Coastal Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) and other local rescue groups. Let’s all pull together and save the pups�.

Bring your pet in for pictures with Santa. You will get digital copies of the photos taken to be printed at your convenience. $15 donation to Coastal Animal Rescue Effort, $5 each additional pet or $30 for the whole family. *Digital pictures will be emailed within 2 weeks.

2016 Coastal Animal Rescue Effort Raffle Ticket Disclaimer:*Must be 18 years old to participate.* You need not be present to win, but we hope you will join us at the Coastal Animal Rescue Effort Pawty of the Year gala on Saturday, April 2, 2016. This is a fundraising project and all ticket sales benefit the Coastal Animal Rescue Effort. The $125 purchase price of the ticket is not tax-deductible, but any amount in excess of $125 per ticket will be considered a contribution to the Coastal Animal Rescue Effort. Tickets may not be sold to C.A.R.E. Board members. A minimum of 500 tickets must be sold for the raffle to take place. In the event that the minimum is not met, you may choose to make this a tax-deductible donation to the Coastal Animal Rescue Effort or receive a full refund. The vehicle is owned and insured by Audi Cape Fear until legally transferred to the raffle winner. The IRS now requires raffle winners to pay federal taxes on raffle winnings at the time of the award. The Coastal Animal Rescue Effort will pay to the IRS, on behalf of the winner, an amount equal to 33.33% of our cost of the vehicle. The tax must be paid not only on the fair market value of the winnings but also the tax itself, therefore a grossed up tax rate of 33.33% of the winnings will be withheld. This may or may not be the actual amount you will owe on your federal taxes. Please consult your tax advisor concerning your specific situation. The raffle winner is responsible for any federal taxes above the 33.33% rate and all state taxes, normal state documentation/registration fees and the license tag fee.

*There is a $3.00 booking fee per ticket for processing.

Canine’s Couture/Strut to Stop Puppy Mills Pup Fashion Show helps create awareness around the puppy mill problem and also Animal Adoption! The Fashion Show is the opening event for the “Save the Pups” weekend April 1-3rd. DJ Brian Hood will be playing some great music as the pups strut down the runway.

Exciting raffle items for everyone. Silent Auction packed with great items donated by local retailers.

Tickets are $25 for open seating, $50 for VIP seating with all of the proceeds going to the Coastal Animal Rescue Effort.
